YOSEIKAN BUDO: KICKBOXING &AIKIJUJITSU

While kickboxing only involves punches and kicks, Budo is a perfect combination of all the martial techniques practiced at different levels of light, semi or full contact. Unlike Kung Fu, where imposed forms require specific physical abilities such as a great flexibility, Budo is accessible to everyone, each individual being encouraged to enhance his or her own natural abilities.  In other words, Yoseikan is a great way to train for MMA. Our adult teaching program is adaptable to every individual and can be soft or tough.

UNIQUE IN TAIWAN

Muay Thai is the discipline taught in Thailand and is the Thai National Sport. It is reputed as a very fierce and combative art that involves powerful kicks, punches and elbow strikes. It is also a great conditioning that requires a lot of stamina and entices lots of strikes on dummies and pads. We are the first and only school in Taiwan teaching Muay Thai.

SORRY OUR MUAYTHAI CLASS IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED!

IN THE MEANTIME, WELCOME TO JOIN OUR FREESTYLE KICKBOXING CLASS ON THURSDAYS.

 MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA)

mma-gael

Although MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) or NHB (No Holds Bared) have become very popular in the last few years, especially in the West and in Japan, they have existed forever, as people in life had to use all kinds of techniques to defend themselves from aggressors. In today's MMA competitions however, the regular outfit is reduced to the bare minimum (boxing shorts and small gloves), and the rules are specific to the sport. While  in Yoseikan Budo we have specific rules and wear protective equipment, the MMA form is practiced in a regular outfit and without protection apart from a cup and small gloves. To have a better idea of what is MMA, check the photos and competition in the news section.
